New Year CAS Card

Hola crafty friends, 

Since new year is just around the corner and everyone is busy prepping for gifts and cards for their loved ones, I'm going to keep this post short and simple just like my project. 
Here's my take on a clean and simple new years card, let's have a look. 

I started by giving the dots texture to my card mat with the help of some texture paste (homemade) and a dots stencil. I then used a yellow colored distress oxide ink and covered the whole mat with an ink blending tool. I tried to keep the centre light in color and all four sides dark giving it an ombre effect. I then simply tore a pattern paper with my hands and stick it with tacky tape in the centre. 

I then used a hemp cord and tied it in the centre making an 'X'. I used a happy new year stamp on a black sheet and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. 
I finished off the card with some mulberry flower arrangement along with die cut leaves.

Boutonnière

Hello my fav crafty people,

Today I am presenting a very easy DIY. I have made 2 very cute and simple yet beautiful boutonnières. For all those who are new to this term, a boutonnière is a french for buttonhole. It is basically a floral decoration worn by men on their formal coats. 

These are very simple to make. You just need to know how to combine the flowers together, i.e. creating a bunch of flowers. I made one in teal color and one in vintage pink color. Let's take a closer look. 

I used 2 bunches of pollens in pink and white, one vintage pink mulberry rose flower 4 pale pink rose buds and 2 mulberry leaves to bring it all together.

For the teal bunch, i used one poppy mulberry rose, 3 micro white roses, 2 bunches of white pollens and finally 2 mulberry leaves, bringing the whole bunch together.

You can add some brown jute cord to add more interest to these beauties.

Accordion Flip Mini Album

Hi everyone,

I am here with a very interesting project today! It is by far one of my favorite mini album I have made. And trust me I have made many! 

One of the many reasons I love making this album is 'coz it has no binding... Yes you heard me right! A bind free album it is. It is made in such a manner that the binding is in the flips of the pages itself.  I used the beautiful hydrangea lawns paper-pack for this album. Since the pages in itself are so beautiful I didn't do any embellishments on the pages. 

For the cover I simply added a few feathers and white mulberry flowers, along with a few flat-back pearls. For the closure, I used two same size decorative buttons and a white cord.

Wedding / Anniversary Memory Album

Hello crafty people,

Today I am sharing with you all a very simple to make wedding/anniversary album. I made this album for a friends parents. Keeping in mind that it was their 32nd Weeding Anniversary I tried to keep it simple for them to add as many pictures as they would like. I used the White and gold theme paper for the same.

For the cover of the album, I used a brick wall stencil. The from I used was inside of the paper-pack I used to make this album. I used a very broad trim lace on the spine of the album. And to finish it off a mix of both mulberry and foam flowers. 

Since I didn't have any border die with me, I traced the design by pencil and simply cut it with scissors for making the pockets in the album. For the various sentiments used inside the album I simply used MS word to write them in different beautiful lettering fonts and got them printed. I fussy cut them and pasted them with the help of double sided tape to give dimension.

Tea / Coffee Dispenser

Hey crafty people, 

I am back with another fun project! A nice dispenser for your green tea bags which can be kept on your desktop at work or on your bedside table to motivate you. This is nothing but up-cycling of the carton in which you get your green tea bags/coffee satches. 

Let's get started!

I started with opening of the complete packaging and creating a small outlet at the bottom of the box and putting back the box together. I used DCWV The Natural Matstack. I have had this cardstock in my stash from a very long time. Its almost 4 years old paper line by DCW. 

I made the cute little cups and a kettle with the help of quilling and then colored them with acrylic paints as per my choice of colors. 

For the little sentiments I printed some images and texts as per my required font and fussy cut them. I used Antique linen Distressed ink to give a little tea stain on the prints. 

 Also I used foam cut alphabets to spell TEA and give the box a little oomph! ;)

Love For Miniatures - Business Card Holder

Hi Crafty Friends,

This is Jaishree from Joyful Kreations. Today in my first post I am going to share with you all a fun and easy to make desktop business card holder with miniatures. 

Miniatures are captivating the craft world completely. Hence, I too decided to try my hands on these cute, little charms I picked from various places. The best part about this project is that the setting can be completely customized as per a person's personality or the filed in which they work. The one I last made was for a make-up artist. Let's take a closer look, shall we!
