Hola crafty peeps,
I made a love theme mixed media layout for you all to learn
with a bonus YouTube Video tutorial for the same. With everyone using pinks and
reds this love season, I wanted to break the rules and use a different palette
altogether. So, I used the beautiful blues and browns.
I have used black designer paper for my first layer and a
vintage brown for my main layout layer. I added teal blue and bluish grey colors in the background of the focal image along with some texture paste with
stenciling and lots of stamping here and there.
I embellished with mulberry flowers both roses and poppies
along with some flourish and leaves die cuts. I also used some natural jute
cord behind my floral arrangements to add some more depth and interest. Here
are some detailed images -
And now finally time to learn how to create this mixed media layout. Here's the complete start to finish process video on the same for you -
Hope you all enjoyed watching the video tutorial and will create your own layouts soon.
Until Next Time
XOXO
JK
